Hi guys,

Can someone tell me , that , is it neccessary to have SSL installed and configured on the IIS which is serving the OWA for changing passwords of the user through the Options page in OWA......Can't i use normal HTTP port to change the password instead of HTTPS port.....

Thanks...

Hi!

You must have SSL installed for this feature. More info can be found at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q268419. On the other hand, installing a self-issued SSL certificate isn't that difficult. That way you can also let users verify their identity securely when accessing OWA.

Regards,

Johan
