Please forgive me for this long questions because I'm new at exchange.

I have 2 servers win2k sp3. Server1 is the DC running AD/DNS/DHCP/IIS. Server2 is running e2k sp3 and nothing else. Email is working great from inside the LAN. IIS is working fine. I'm trying to set up OWA and this is my problem.

Server2 shows M://domain.com (i know this is the default). I made M drive a share and i called it "M".

In IIS under default web site, i'm setting up these 3 virtual directories.

"Exchange" - Chose "A share located on another computer" and chose the path "\\server2\m\domain.com\mbx"
-Chose all except for "directory browsing" under network directory.
-For Directory Security, i unchecked Annonymous and chose only "Digest authentication for Windows domain server" and "Integrated Windows Authentication"

"Public" - all the same except it's pointing to "\\server2\m\domain.com\public folders"

"Exadmin" - all the same except pointing to "\\exchange\m"

When i go to http://domain.com/exchange i get the login. i put in the login and it keeps asking me to login several more times then i get the message "you are not authorized to view this page" error 403-forbidden internet explorer.

what am i doing wrong? i'm running IE6 with all the newest patches. I'm not behind an ISA server. inside the lan http://server2/exchange will bring up OWA without a problem. i have enable http protocol in AD under the Exchange advanced tab. I'm out of ideas.

Thanks in advance.
