We have Exchange 2000 running on a W2K server box and everything is running fine. We can use the internal and external sites to get our email.

But, we want to set up some computers in a "public" area at work that will allow any employee to be able to check their email online internally but it wants to use the currently logged on credentials of the workstation. How can we create a link to the internal web mail address and have it ASK for credentials instead of using the current ones?

I hope I made sense. "[Confused]"

Hi

Try this

1. In dns create a new host call e.g "Webmail" IP of your Exhange server
2. Now on you Plublic Pc ask users to "Start, run, "HTTP://webmail.domain name.\exchange"
3. it will bring up a logon box now.
users can now enter "Domain name\users name and password.

Let me know.
