jame01 -> Issuing Your Own Certificate for OWA (2.Aug.2003 1:45:00 AM)

I would like to setup SSL to work with OWA. I also want to use Microsoft Certificates to issue my own certificate. Does anyone know how to do this? Can someone give me some
advice.

Thank you

Check this .

And thereafter
this article ? It describes how you setup SSL with OWA.

I am always willing to help out if I can. But I am certainly more willing to help out people who try to help themselves. [Roll Eyes] Mark, the resident Exchange guru, has an article on this site to explain how to do just that. It is a very well written piece and will walk you through exactly what you want to do. It is a mere two clicks away!

What Snookboy is talking about is this

http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/MF004.html

but Mark is telling you to use a third party SSL cert.

That is correct, but I also did another article about using your own cert, you can find this at www.4mcts.com/downloads

Thanks David, you are 100% correct, it was a long day [Smile]

Hey. those XKeys look pretty cool, when are they due to be released?

drusho -> RE: Issuing Your Own Certificate for OWA (17.Aug.2003 2:19:00 PM)

The Public release will be mid to end September.

We gave away 100 prototypes at ITforum Europe, to see how people reacted and where we had room for improvement. (Mark Arnold got one).
We will be offering them initially with upto 980 MB Storage, and they will install and autostart within a minute.
We are re-writing the entire interface to give the Xkey and HiperExchange a cooler feel, with icons and a default blue similar to the look of OWA 2003 Premium.

I could not make it to ITFORUM so how about shouting one my way [Smile]
