Hi,

I was wonderig if the following setup is possible.

Frontend server in DMZ(with OWA + IIS) ===> Firewall (X ports open) ===> internal Exchang server on internal network.

Is it possible to move or install OWA on a frontend server and have it request it's data from an internal system using as little ports as possible?

Can this be done? Would you recommend this type of setup or would a different approuche be more secure?

If so where could i find the documentation on how to do this?

Thanks for any info,

Tom

Thanks for the info and the links.

I just wanted to let you know i'm not stupid or unwilling to look.
Thing is i'm junior / your senior at exchange if i look at your profile. That means you knew what you where looking for and new how to formulate your search query, i had no clue.

I was looking for Exchange in DMZ and that does not turn up the same info as you gave me here.

Cheerz,

Tom
