Hi,

We have recently installed the September rollup pack for exchange 2000 sp3 and some other win2k hotfixes.
The OWA password change function now no longer works. SSL and certificates are in place and the certificate is installed when a user clicks the change password button, but the password change screen does not appear, just an http 404 file not found error

has anyone else seen this ?

There appears to be an issue with the W2k SP4 updated version of OWA, some of the new validation routines in the code dont work properly

How are you doing the OWA password change? Did you just map a virtual directory to %WINNT%\System32\Inetsrv\IISADMPWD or did you use the upgrade package to convert it to ASP?

We are using the iisadmpwd virtual directory.
The problems seem to be in the achg.htr file code that was updated in sp4 and the aexp.htr file that calls this.

Have you run the IISLockdown tool? If so run it again to remove it and when you next run it, remember to exclude .htr type files.
