Hello there!
I¦we been trying to figure out how to setup OWA with one public IP and both Webserver and Exchange on separated machines and i have read this forum up and down but i can¦t find any really good answer how to do that.My network is one W2k IIS5 for Web and one SBS2000 Exchange who is DC and one W2k3 memberserver behind an Freesco router.I would like my outsiders to head for mail.mydomain.com and be directed to OWA login but i have only one public IP and i dont want to use FE/BE.DNS is not an problem because records for mail.mydomain.com is in place.
Could i create an certificate with W2k3 server and use on the SBS2000 machine and use it for SSL? Can someone of the great authors on this forum help me with an way to do this with my scenario?

If you want to send port 80 to one box for the web and 443 to the other box then you will apply the IP address to the router or whatever gateway you have. You then do port forwarding or nat and send the traffic to the different servers based on the port number (It's exactly what I use on my home boxes to publish OWA & SharePoint).
