Made some changes on our company OWA server and now when I log into OWA, it starts to bring up my inbox, but I only get the toolbar across the top, and for the inbox it says "Loading..." , and I do not get a list of my folders. It then pops up two error messages, that are identical, and say "The Item could not be found. It may have been deleted."

I did just change some things right before this happened, but I dont think it should have created this error. I deleted the iishelp directory, and I changed the properties for the default website to allow anonymous access. I have tried changing this back, but still get the error.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jim

Chances are this will solve the problem:

Actually I just figured it out. I had uninstalled URLScan from the machine. I just reinstalled it and looked at the log and it was prohibiting some of the verbs that are used for OWA, after I permitted them, it works again. Seems to me that after uninstalling URLScan, it should have openned up things, not caused them to be denied, but oh well.

Yes there are special considerations when installing URLScan in an Exchange environment, but you don't have to go as far as to uninstall it you just need to adjust it a bit:

IIS lockdown and URLscan configurations in an Exchange environment:
