I am in the process of migrating from exch5.5 to exch2k3. all mailboxes except those who have owa access on the old mail server have been moved. I want the new owa server up and running before I move them. I have 2 exchange 2k3 (FE/BE setup) on win2k3 ent server. When any user who has owa enabled on the new exch2k3 logins to OWA, the 503 server not available message comes up. I have followed most of the instructions that I have so far found on various KB's, forums to no avail. Can somebody please let me know how you resolved the same issue?

thanks in advance

Finally resolved my "503 service not available" issue. I went to system manager of my BE server and configured server\protocol\http\exch virtual server\exchange\properties\authentication. the only box that should be left checked is basic authentication. I thought I saw that solution from this forum. After going through a lot of kb's, etc I can no longer recall where I saw it. Anyway thanks a lot.
