I am having a problem logging in to OWA with new AD user accounts I've just created. It started only a few days ago. However, accounts created before last week can log in fine.

I am running Exchange 2000 on a 2000 member server. OWA is running on same server

Have two 2000 DCs. One is in the same subnet as Exchange the other is a remote DC.

It appears to be an AD problem, but I'm not sure.
I see nothing unusual in the logs.

Any help if appreciated.

Mike

I have discovered the solution! The exchange organization includes two servers - each in a different domain. These domains are trusted. In both domains, it appears that user accounts must have smtp addresses for both domains or they cannot access OWA. With only one smtp address they can still access pop and exchange, but not OWA.

Hope this helps someone else who might be having a similar problem.
