Hi, I have to split users on one exchange installation. about 20 mailboxes should be moved to another server with all related stuff like message rules and so on. First server is 2010, second 2013. Different domains, no any connections between servers. Please an advice about how to do it?

Are these two servers are in the same forest? If yes, then you don't have to use any Tool. You can complete the migration using Exchange Native Tools like EMC and EMS.

I still can't understand how do I move the mailbox with command line Get-Mailbox -Arbitration -Identity "SystemMailbox{e0dc1c29-89c3-4034-b678-e6c29d823ed9}" | New-MoveRequest -TargetDatabase <name of Exchange 2013 database> in case if I have no direct file access from old server to new server's database...

Which part you don't understand? I assume you are running cross forest migration!

Is it in the same forest or ? What do you mean by inaccessible? Is the server is down?

Server is UP, but this is a different servers, different forests. I need to split an organization and copy some mailboxes. I can do it manually of course, via PST export, import, but I will loose message rules that way...

Ok... If you want to have very simple way to migrate this, you can use CodeTwo tool, it's very cheap. Or you can do it using Script, but you can migrate only mailboxes, not Public Folder, OAB, FreeBusy etc.

Did you had a word with CodeTwo? I don't think $US300 lot of money when it comes to migrating enterprise application.
