Hi,
I have a exchange 2k site in one location wworking perfectly.

Now I have to add a new exch2k site in a different location for the same company, same domain name.

this new site is connected via private adsl at 512/128 to the existing one. Internet connectivity is at primary site only.

Do I have to have to add an additional routing group for my new site and then use a routing group connector to link to my existing primary routing group, and specify the remote bridgehead server as being the primary e2k server at the existing site?

Also is there a need to have this going both ways?
The existing site routing group already has an smtp connector for internet connectivity.

can anyone shed some light on how to handle this scenario?

thanks

regards

You mean there is no one out there that has been through this scenario before?

Any help?

Thanks

What you posted sounds fine.

Create the new server in same admin group, but in its own routing group, then link it via a routing group connector to the primary servers routing group.

Connector run both ways and users in the new site will access the Internet via the primary site.
