While trying to send an email to a known email address I get this error

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:
'username@domain.com' on 7/10/2006 8:08 AM
The e-mail account does not exist at the organization this message was sent to. Check the e-mail address, or contact the recipient directly to find out the correct address.
<server.domain.local #5.1.1 smtp;550 5.1.1 username@domain.com> is not a valid mailbox

Now I know that the email address is valid because I can send the user an email from yahoo mail.

Our current setup is Windows 2000 server with Exchange 2000

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated - Thanks

I would like to know if you got this resolved, cause I have the same problem
If I resend the email it works fine, it just seems to be random

Do you have more than one MX record?  Perhaps in a load-balancing configuration?
