hi,
i have 4 servers running
1. DC-1 Old domain server ( windows 2008 r2)
2. DC-2 New Domain server   ( windows 2008 r2)
3. Exchange server 2010 ( windows 2008 r2)

these are my servers ruining on my network.
my 2nd DC (OLD server) not working well because of some hardware issues, so i put new server and move all FSMO roles from old dc to new dc ( never done adprep/forestprep because of same windows OS) everything moved successfully.
now my problem is some time my dc-1 old server goes down that time my exchange server not working and asking user name and password on users outlook , i check on exchange server and getting error AD not connected.
so what i will do that i will restart the old dc after that everything work fine.
so what i thinking that still now also exchange server consider domain controller as my old DC .
how can solve this issue , if anything else to change or enable to make my new server as primary domain controller .

Please help

Is the new domain controller set as the primary DNS server of the Exchange server?

Were all 5 FSMO roles transferred?

Make sure that your DNS is setup like this on your Exchange Server

DNS Primary : DC2
DNS Secondary : DC1
