Scenario:

SBS2003 installed and exchange configured and set up for internal email. And external emails is routed to ISP smart host. So whenever someone email internally, exchange recognized it as internal email and does not send it out to ISP. And when someone email outside office, exchange sends it out to ISP.

I use notebook. On that notebook, outlook is setup to receive both internal and external emails, from exchange and ISP. For exchange i connect it via VPN and receive mails directly from exchange. And for ISP i connect it via POP3 and receive mails from ISP.

I also got Blackberry which is setup to receive external emails from ISP through POP3. If wish to redirect email coming in to an exchange server mailbox (internal) to ISP? I want to receive my internal emails as well.

Can I route or forward all my mailbox emails to ISP?

Hi,

Yes you can make a contact in AD with the pop3 e-mail-address assigned to it. Then setup your user account to forward all mail to it.

Another option is to use the pop3 connector from SBS to get your mail from your ISP's pop3 server and deliver it to your Exchange mailbox.

Hi,

In that case forward the e-mail of the AD-user to your pop3 account at your ISP.
This can be done by first creating a mail contact in the AD which has the e-mail address of the pop3 account at your ISP.

Then get the properties of the AD-user which you want to forward the mail from go the the Exchange general tab, select delivery options and under the forward piece select the just created contact.

For a tutorial see this site:

Thanks jveld

I already know this option. What i was looking for was to route my internal emails to ISP and i don't want it to forward it to some external email but the same one myname@mydomain.com. Just somehow make exchange don't block my internal mailbox mails going to the internet.
