We are currently running exchange 2000 enterprise on a
exchange 2000 DC.

As part of our upgrade process to exchange 2003 I have
installed exchange 2003 enterprise on 2003 server standard.
Forsetprep, domainprep and the install itself went fine, I
then setup replication of public folders from our current
exchange 2000 to our new exchange 2003 with replication
interval settings from the public information store and
set each top levels replication priority to normal and
increased the replcation file size limit.

I then propagted the replcation settings from the top
level folders to their sub-folders and everything started

However after 3 days the pub.edb and the pub.stm are
sitting and about 480k and 320k on the new 2003 server,
while the pub.edb and pub.stm are 2.4GB and 1.3GB on the
old 200 server.I have also noticed that some data has went
missing from the public folder structure on the old 2000
server.I have checked the event logs on both servers for
any errors but can't find any.

I would appreciate any help in resolving this replication

Hello Mack,

I order to get a deeper loggin, you need to do the following registry twewak on both the server:

HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\ Public\Diagnostic and set the DWORD valuse to 7 for all. Also set the same on MSExchange Transport and this will genreate logs for all the transactions.

See if this produces some events. Also since how many days have you been trying to replicate these Public Folders.

You might look at that. It is a way to request the replication. I did it a couple times before all my info was replicated.
