I'm currently trying to integrate SMS text messaging on our cell phones with contacts setup in exchange. What I've done is create a contact for each cell phone named something like <TXT-Username> with an smtp address of <phonenumber>@cellphone.providerdomain.com.

I can send an email in outlook to the alias <TXT-Username> and it is delivered as a text message to the phone. the phone user can reply with a text message fine as well but when the reply message shows up in outlook, it has the SMTP address <phonenumber>@cellphone.providerdomain.com in the from address. This gets confusing especially when multiple people send messages this way.

What I'd like to know is if anybody has any ideas on how I can get the from field to show the contact name instead of the smtp address. Is there some way I can setup the contact in exchange or some sort of address list I can create?
