Hi, I'm sorry for the lame question, but still hope for advice :)
The current set-up is: one AD forest, two locations (and AD sites) connected through leased line, two routing groups, servers in routing group A are serving the parent domain (both AD and DNS) domain.com, servers in routing group B serving the child domain sub.domain.com. There's a routing group connector and all inbound and outbound mail is handled by bridgehead server in RG "A" which sends it to the ISP relay.
Now I've got an Internet connection in second site and need to set up the message flow so that all external inbound and outbound mail for the child domain sub.domain.com is sent to the ISP relay and all internal mail still sent through the leased line.
So, the question is - should I just point external DNS MX records for sub.domain.com  to the second ISP mail relay and create the SMTP connector for RG "B"? Not sure, if my question sounds clear, so, what I want is that all the mail between the RG "A" and "B" was sent through the leased line and all external mail for RG "A" was handled by ISP "A" relay and all external mail for RG "B" was hadled by ISP "B" relay.
Thanks!

hi,

you already answered the question,

First thing what is the role of the ip address which is your MX record - like smtp relay server or 2003 bridgehead server? all you need to have is update that ip in your site for receiving and for sending crate a smtp connector.
