i am doing transition from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013.
All my roles reside in one server. i am configuring send and receive connectors please guide me.

on my exchange server 2013
Under the mail flow tab: Email Address policies
Default policy : email address format
i can see
Type Address Format
SMTP @mydomain.com
X400 c=US;a=;p=First Organization;o=Exchange;

do i require X400 and what is X400, if i delete X400 will i face any issues.

2. Under receive connector i am just making changes to Default Frontend mail
and under permissons group checked the box for Anonymous users.and rest are all default.

3. Under the send connector tab i can see my send connectors of exchange 2007.
can i delete these connectors and re create new send connectors

Hi,

You may refer to the link below mentioned to move your public folders from exchange 2007 to 2013-
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj150486(v=exchg.150).aspx

But, you can only do incremental migration by using the native tool as Microsoft does not allow to migrate directly to a version skipping an intermediate version. You must use an utility tool here to avoid risks involved and to carry out hasslefree migration. There are a lot of 3rd party tools available for the data migration between any 2 version of exchange server. For me, Lepide Exchange recovery manager worked best.
