hello everyone;
oooooooooh my problem is that I tried to install ESP2 on the exchange server on windows 2000 advanced server with sp4 everytime the MSExchangIS fails to start with this 0x80004005 error connecting to Microsoft active directory I feed up attampting to troulbeshoot the problem causing by ensuring the directory replication consistancy between the forest root and child domain controllers, replication status is fine all objects replicated I tried to use ESP3 but gives same result

need a help...............please could any one how to correct the problem?

Check DNS Settings are ok as Exchange uses DNS to contact your DCs. Use NetDiag and DCDiag to check network connectivity or even RPCPing if necessary and DCDiag to ensure your DC is ok.

Also use the exchange analyzer tools from MS Downloads page to look for inconsistencies in your Exchangs site.
