I want to validate recipients before accepting mails from internet, most of the users register themselves with many daily news letters or stuff like that and when they resign a lot of junk mails (NDRs) are received in postmasterÆs mailbox.

The exact requirement is mail server should accept messages only for valid exchange users and should reject and event wonÆt generate NDRs.

Generating NDRs is not desirable, as exchange first accepts the message and then generates the NDR.Consider if we receive Two MB of message for TEN users who have resigned. This will consume 20 MB bandwidth and TEN NDR in postmaster's mail box.

Can anybody suggest how to accomplish this using exchange or any other software like MIME Sweeper Send mail or qmail.

The following lines will illustrate my requirement...

220 ***************************
helo op
250 webmail4.maa.sify.net
mail from:sani@yahoo.com
250 ok
rcpt to:unknownuser@satyam.net.in
554 sorry sani@yahoo.com, Account <unknownuser@satyam.net.in> is Absent on th
is domain, permanent reject (#5.7.2)

This system is properly setup to check usernames,if the user is absent no further communication should happen.

Please guide me to achive this.

Regards
