Hi all,
i got this problem in my Exchange 2007.
A user - using SMTP mail relay to send and receive messages - tries to send an email to a specific Distribution List , the message goes to Sent Items from Outlook but never delivered.
Although when he is trying to send to other Distribution Lists everything works fine.
Any suggestions?

Check the settings on the Distribution Group and make sure that you don't have "Require All Senders are Authenticated":

Open up Exchange Management Console and go to the Recipient Configuration, Distribution Group. Double-click on the distribution group.

Click on the "Mail Flow Settings" tab and select "Message Delivery Restrictions", then select the "Properites" button.

On the "Message Delivery Restrictions" screen untick the "Require that all senders are authenticated" box and that should sort the problem.

This is a new 'feature' in Exchange 2007 / 2010!

Thank you very much for the answer although my Exchange is 2003 (v.6.5 7638.2) and not 2007.
If i don't get an answer may i repost the same question to Exchange 2003 forum ?
