I am learning how to configure exchange 2007 and have decided to unistall exchange 2007 SP1 from a 2003 Standard Server. I am having problems with unistalling using setup.com /mode:uninstall from command prompt.I get the following message

Mailbox Roles Checks................ Failed

Uninstall cannot continue........."exchange is unable to check the public folder replicas for <servername>\first storage group\xxxx public folder.Verify the Microsoft Information Store Service is running .....and that the database is propely mounted

Client Access Roles Checks................ completed

Hub transport roles checks................ completed

Organization Checks................ completed

I have referenced technet article "How to completely remove Exchange 2007 from a server"
