I am planning an upgrade from Exch 2007 sp1 to Exchange 2007 sp3. OS is Win2k3 sp2.
I have 2 Exchange servers that sit in a child domain. All users with mailboxes sit in the parent and different child domains from the Exch servers.
The parent domain and the child domain that Exchange resides in both only have Win2k8 R2 DC's. All other child domain DC's are Win2k3. The Forest is Win2003 functional.
The exchange admin has no rites in the parent domain.
Prior to installing Exch 2007 several years back, I ran setup /prepareAD on a parent domain DC and setup /preparedomain on a DC in each child domain.
Should I follow the same procedure prior to my upgrade to Exch 2007 sp3?
Thanks!

Yes, and make sure that you run setup.com /ps
Because SP3 has schema changes.

And Yes, you should also run Setup.com /preparealldomains
