i understand that you have two user accounts. one of them is not an employee nomore. and the other one is hired for his/her position.

so you can give permission to the newly hired personal to send on behalf of permission on the active directory users and computers console properties->exchange general->delivery options

and then if you want the newly hired personal have the other one emails, from the same snap in, you should give forward to permission to the RELEASED personal.....

emails sent to the released personal will forward to both released and newly hired personal.

Maybe it is the Display name / Full name thing.
In AD users/computers rightclick the account and choose Rename. Edit the name by adding a letter and it will popup with a box with both the display name and full name in it. Many times it is different after editting one of both.
hope it helps, bob

Are your users using Outlook? I think it's an outlook thing.

I tryed that it did not worked. I do believe this is ADS issue since it happens to outlook 2000 and XP clints. I not sure what I can do? I know when we had Novell NDS this is easy to rename user name and mailbox works great. Is there a easy way to correct this issue with Windows ADS?

If you go to "User Manager Active Directory" and find the user, right click go to "Properties" there should be a "E-mail Address" tab. Make sure the proper e-mail address is set as default.
