Setup currently is win2k adv svr, exchange2k sp3, it is behind nat, 25/tcp and 110/tcp forwarded in, which seems to be compounding the problem.
When a message is sent into the server for a domain in the default receipiant policy, it ends up in a new second queue for the domain, listed as a remote queue. With the local delivery queue remaining empty. We can send out with it to any other domain, but sending thru this server from one user to another results in it ending up in the remote queue also.
The domain thats ended up with two queues is the primary smtp in receipiant policy, a connector for the domain is setup w/ the domain in address space connector scope is entire organization and allow messages to be relayed to these domains
any ideas or comments?

Remove all connectors that have your Domain Name as the address space!

Be sure that your Recipient Policies are correct!

Good Luck
